This poem is honestly one that I think i will always like. This poem means something else to me in terms of sports. These types of sports are the ones having to do with mental toughness and endurance such as running and wrestling. I relate this poem to these two because in both you feel as if though you are being oppressed by your coach, who has the power to give you some "cruel" workouts. When given these workouts you must always try to find that extra ounce of strength you need to complete it. This poem tells you(in terms of sports) that these cruel things are there to test you and that you must find that inner strength in you because you must always remember that life will go on.
