The book I'm currently reading is The Partner by John Grisham. Something interesting about the book is that it brings forth how the world of law is. It shows the greediness that lawyers have in how they will do anything they can in order to get their 20%-33% of their share of their client's money in the case. The book also shows how corrupt the government is. For example, in the book the government worked with a dangerous criminal's gang in order to get the main character, Patrick who is supposedly "dead" and stole about $33 million dollars from his old corrupt law firm, and the government lets the gang's leader be free. Even though I have already read about how corrupt all governments are, including the US, it is still interesting to know how it really is from the words of a man who has a lot of connections with lawyers.
