Bad Words

"BAD WORDS" is there even such a thing as bad words? Who decided what words were considered bad? Did they just hear a word and simply think, "Whoa that word sounds rude, I don't like it I think I'll consider it as a bad word." ? Well I think what makes a word be considered "bad" is how and when you use it. How you use a word can make it seem bad because of the tone you say it in, although you can't make "bubbles" sound bad no matter what tone you use(give it a try) , and what you say after it for example when you say "f**k" by itself it sounds as if though you were trying to say "oops" but it slipped out and if you say "f****n b***h" it already seems/sounds like a bad word. When you use it is also of importance because if you say a "bad word" in a "formal" place such as school, a job, or a social event it will be considered rude and therefore a bad word. The use of "bad words" can heighten the understanding between people mainly the younger generations because we were raised on these bad words and it isn't unusual to use these "bad words" to describe a feeling with more emotion. An appropriate use of euphemism is to say that someone "passed away" rather than saying, "He's dead" because saying that someone is dead sounds a lot harsher than saying that someone passed away which sounds like if they went peacefully. A euphemism becomes confusing when it is in too high of a vocabulary and starts to sound scientific.
