This cartoon qualifies as a satire on how the people of the US only focus on the lesser threat and try to stop it first yet they don't see the real threat and allow it.

This is a satire in how it mocks the fact that people who are wrong and try to feed the wrong information to the people are considered correct while the people who are trying to get the truth out seem to be considered the criminals.

This is also an example of satire in how it shows that the media has complete control over what they want the people to see and believe rather than show the truth.
